Description
Being “The Research University in the Helmholtz Association”, KIT creates and imparts knowledge for the society and the environment. It is the objective to make significant contributions to the global challenges in the fields of energy, mobility, and information. KIT’s AI strategy is defined by strong partnerships - for example with the Helmholtz research centers in the form of Helmholtz AI, advancing digital innovations, generative AI, and fostering human-machine interaction through interdisciplinary research platforms. Current focus topics include applied artificial intelligence for robotics, chip design, cybersecurity, digital services and platforms, and autonomous systems that support process optimization across sectors, as well as research on AI for energy systems and processes.
