The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) is the governmental organization responsible for promoting trade, business opportunities, and industrial cooperation between Italian and foreign companies. It also actively promotes the excellence of “Made in Italy” worldwide and fosters foreign investment in Italy by providing information, support, promotion, and training. Headquartered in Rome and Milan, ITA offers global support to Italian companies through its network of 87 offices in 74 countries. In France, ITA organizes Italy’s participation in major innovation events such as the World AI Conference (WAICF) in Cannes and Viva Technology. The Agency also collaborates in the organization of SMAU, a leading platform connecting Italian and French ecosystem players, and manages the Global Startup Program, an international development initiative for innovative Italian startups seeking to enter the French market.
