Description
We are honored to announce that President von der Leyen’s address will officially inaugurate our Summit.
President of the European Commission since 2019, Ursula von der Leyen steered the EU’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and the energy crisis. In July 2024, she was elected for a second term.
Under the Commission’s 2024-2029 priorities, Europe’s competitiveness, prosperity and capacity for innovation are central to her agenda, alongside security, social fairness and strengthening Europe’s role in the world.
At @Adopt AI - Grand Palais, President von der Leyen’s opening address will bring a European perspective to a Summit focused on the technologies and transformations shaping the continent’s future.
