Description

With over 30 years of experience driving growth and innovation in the global IT and telecom sectors, Emmanuel has built a distinguished career spanning R&D, engineering, business leadership and executive management. He is a recognized leader within the high-performance computing and AI ecosystem, combining deep technological expertise with a strong strategic vision. A graduate from High Engineering school in Electronics and Computer Sciences in Rennes (France) and from the business school INSEAD, Emmanuel began his career in R&D and Engineering positions in Telecom Wireless division at Nortel in Paris. He rapidly advanced from the R&D and Engineering community to senior leadership roles, overseeing global product management and strategic alliances. After joining Bull in 2010, Emmanuel played a central role in accelerating the company’s growth by building and strengthening key strategic partnerships with industry leaders, resellers and OEMs. Following Bull’s acquisition by Atos in 2014 (later hosted under the Eviden brand as the Advanced Computing business), he successively led the Enterprises Servers business and the Big Data Platforms activity. In these roles, he redefined the business portfolio to drive revenue growth and profitability through global strategy, new go-to-market approach and targeted strategic acquisitions. From 2022 to 2026, Emmanuel led the Eviden’s Advanced Computing and AI business within the Atos Group. He notably championed Europe’s first Exascale machines while expanding cloud, HPC, and AI solutions and services worldwide. His leadership has been instrumental in securing the business’ leading position in Europe, India and Latin America. Since Bull’s nationalisation by the French State’s sovereign fund APE in April 2026, Emmanuel has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Bull, entrusted with leading the company into its next phase of growth as an independent European technology champion in advanced computing, AI and quantum innovations. Committed to fostering innovation and technological leadership, Emmanuel also serves as a board president of Datasentics and board member for SiPearl. In 2026, Emmanuel has been nominated in HPCwire‘s People to Watch program.
