Description
A graduate in Economics from the University of Naples and holder of an MBA from the School of Management (Naples, 2002), Giancarlo Miluccio began his career as a Marketing Specialist (2002–2004) before joining the L’Oréal Group as Sales Manager for the Turin region (2004). He then progressed within L’Oréal through various marketing and commercial positions, first in Italy and later at the Paris headquarters, with an increasing focus on data usage and governance.
In 2014, he became Head of CMI & Data for L’Oréal France before being appointed Chief Data Officer in 2018. In this role, he oversaw L’Oréal France’s data strategy (Data Quality, Data Management, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Data Visualization).
In 2020, he joined the Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) Group as Chief Data Officer. In 2026, he expanded his scope by also taking on responsibility for the Digital department, becoming Chief Digital & Data Officer.
At URW, Giancarlo oversees the company’s digital ecosystem, leads the Data strategy, and defines the Consumer Insights roadmap, with the mission of leveraging innovation and advanced analytics to enhance company performance and generate new revenue streams.
