Description
Christoph brings over 20 years of experience in technology, innovation, and banking. Since 2019, he has served as Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer and Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, playing a central role in shaping the strategy and transformation agenda of the bank’s Technology, Data & Innovation (TDI) division in close collaboration with the Management Board.
In this role, Christoph drives the division’s long-term vision and strategic priorities, with a strong focus on transformative initiatives such as the bank‑wide AI program. He also oversees Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Venture Capital activities, strengthening the bank’s access to emerging technologies, startups, and innovation ecosystems.
Previously, Christoph held several senior leadership positions at Deutsche Bank, including responsibility for the Office of the Chairman. He began his career at the bank in 2007 within the Investment Bank, advising financial services clients on M&A, IPOs, and capital market transactions.
Earlier in his career, Christoph founded a software company specializing in customer‑centric web solutions. He is an alumnus of the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland), the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Columbia University (New York).
