Description
Alessandro Barardi holds an engineering degree in mathematics, with a master’s thesis on nonlinear brain dynamics completed at the University of Melbourne. He was awarded a prestigious Marie Curie Fellowship, which supported his research in computational neuroscience, focusing on neuronal synchronization and traveling waves in the human hippocampus. His academic journey spanned leading institutions including Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Spain) and the California Institute of Technology (USA).
Currently, Alessandro leads the development of AI capabilities at UniCredit, where he has built and scaled the Group’s data science practice. Under his leadership, the AI function now encompasses a wide range of advanced analytics and generative AI solutions across the organization.
