In his role, Dane oversees Navan Group Travel Automation and Fulfillment, a domain focused on solving the travel industry's most complex challenges. His teams leverage rapidly evolving AI to develop groundbreaking innovations, including Navan Cognition. This proprietary AI framework combines the predictive power of machine learning with the reasoning capabilities of large language models to redefine the travel shopping, fulfillment and servicing experience. A mathematics graduate from Purdue University, Dane specialized in natural language processing and machine learning for national defense applications early in his career. Since then, he has established himself as a leader in engineering and product development, spearheading impactful projects at top-tier organizations, including Expedia Group, Bloomberg, Grubhub, American Express, and McKinsey & Company. Dane lives in London.
