François Mattens is VP Public Affairs at XXII, a leading French start-up in computer vision. He is also the co-founder of Defence Angels, the largest network of private investors dedicated to the defence sector. He teaches defence industry studies at Sciences Po and Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and writes for Forbes and Harvard Business Review France on innovation management. Previously, he served as Director of Innovation at the French Land Defence and Security Industry Association (GICAT), where he co-founded GENERATE, the first accelerator dedicated to defence and security start-ups.
