Description

Piero Sierra is the Chief AI Officer at Skyscanner, where he leads the company’s vision, strategy, and execution for how artificial intelligence shapes the future of travel. Drawing on a background in Computer Science and more than 25 years of experience building intelligent consumer products, he oversees Skyscanner’s efforts to use AI and emerging technologies to make travel planning more personal, seamless, and inspiring. Previously, Piero served as Chief Product Officer at Skyscanner for nearly a decade, and before that spent two decades at Microsoft leading major consumer software products including Skype, MSN Messenger, Internet Explorer, and Windows. He holds a Computer Science degree from Princeton University and has long been passionate about the intersection of technology, design, and human experience.
